AIE at Emerald City Comic-Con 2018
The city of Seattle was fired up once again for Emerald City Comic-Con 2018!
Emerald City Comic-Con was held at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle, Washington. The Academy of Interactive Entertainment has partnered with Emerald City Comic-Con to help us reach out to our future industry experts.
This is our 7th year of exhibiting at Emerald City Comic-Con, and every year, we invite everyone to get creative by trying out our industry tool set. If you’re interested in 3D modeling, we’ll supply and show you how to use a Cintiq. If you’re interested in learning about gaming, you can try out the games our students have created on various platforms. Our biggest highlight of the show was to see everyone playing games that our talented students have created.
We are always proud to showcase our student work at each convention we attend; everything from virtual reality to console gaming. On PC, tons of people were drawn to the charming 2D platformer, Agent C3 Brie. The fast-paced and unpredictable multiplayer, Collidalot (PC, Nintendo Switch) also drew in a huge crowd.
Leave the Nest (Playstation VR), was the first virtual reality game for a lot of Emerald City Comic-Con attendees.
Our booth offers just a taste of what you can expect at our Interactive Experience Days. The next Interactive Experience Day will be taking place on Saturday, April 14th from 10:30am-1:30pm.
Emerald City Comic-Con 2018 attendees were on a whole new level of passion. Whether they were cosplaying as their favorite character, or playing games with their friends, this is exactly the kind of people we’re interested in getting to know.
See you all at Emerald City Comic Con 2019!
