AIE Privacy Policy
This privacy policy governs the Academy of Interactive Entertainment’s (AIE) collection and use of personal details and data. This includes information gathered via our website (aie.edu) or third parties where the user has opted to share their personal details with AIE.

AIE obtains your information when you voluntarily provide this through the AIE website or third-party applications.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain user provided data for an undefined amount of time. We are able to delete any personal details and identifiable data we have collected at any time by emailing info@aie.edu.au
Children
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 15. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@aie.edu.au. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our processes. By using the aie.edu website, you are consenting AIE staff and educators to communicate, engage and interact with you in matters related to your academic studies, in the forms of but not limited to, email, phone, sms, news and announcements, videos and pod casts, surveys and calendar appointments.

"Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States and/or Australia. If you reside outside the United States or Australia, your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States and Australian privacy standards.
